Flora & Fauna | No ordinary Xmas Greetings

Flora & Fauna Guest Designer

Isn't this stamp set the cutest? I used the set to create two cards and two Xmas gift tags. The idea for the first card was to show a whimsical caravan making their way through the desert.

The second card shows a shelf with different succulents, flower pots and a cute llama for decoration. The stamped images are colored in with watercolors.

Next up are two cute and simple Xmas gift tags. I stamped onto white cardstock and colored the images with watercolors. I fussy cut the stamped images and attached them with foam pads.

Two Die-Cut Sets

The next card features the die-cut set with the glass dome. I used glittery white cardstock, transparency foil (acetate) and a light-green foam craft sheet for the stand. Then I placed succulent die-cuts around the glass dome and attached a light-green string for decoration.

Finally, I would like to share a card that I made with the Terrarium Die Set. I used glittery white cardstock for the succulents and foam craft sheets for the terrarium. I also added some lovely paper flowers.

Flora & Fauna | Flower Wrapping

Guest Designer | Flora & Fauna

Flora & Fauna asked me to create some projects for them as a guest designer. They are a US based company and they sell cute clear stamps and dies. Take some time to browse their lovely online-shop (click). I'm sure you will find something you like.

The cutest stamps and dies

Flora & Fauna kindly sent me three products to create with. Arent't these stamps and dies the cutest?! I particularly like the glass dome, the llamas and the flower pots. The stamp set is called Fa la la Llama Set and the dies are Glass Dome Die and Terrarium Cluster Die.

Cute Shaker Tag And Stamped Flower Wrapping

Today I'm sharing one of the projects I created with the Fa-la-la-llama Stamp Set and the Terrarium Cluster Die. I created a cute shaker tag and I also made a cool flower wrapper with stamped flower pots on it. It holds a bouquet of artificial flowers.

How to

1. Grab a piece of paper for the flower wrapping. The size of the paper depends on the size of the bouquet you want to wrap. I used a DIN A5 sized paper. I stamped a regular pattern onto the paper with one of the flower pot stamps.

2. To make the shaker hang tag, you will need a foam craft sheet, white cardstock, transparency foil (acetate), some sequins and two of the succulent die-cuts from the die set. First, die-cut the terrarium from the foam craft sheet. You will need two of these. Then, you create a 'sandwich' with four layers.

The layers are as follows from bottom to top:

  • bottom layer: white cardstock
  • die-cut terrarium from foam craft sheet and decoration (sequins, die-cut succulents)
  • transparency foil (glue transparency foil to the foam craft terrarium and use a scissors to trim the transparency foil to the shape of the terrarium)
  • top layer: second die-cut terrarium from foam craft sheet

I hope you like my inspiration. Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day, yours Sandra.

Guest Designer Bramble Fox | Scrapbook Page

Guest Designer | Bramble Fox

This month I'm guest designer for Bramble Fox, a UK based craft store that sells accessories for papercrafting projects. They have fun flair buttons and beautiful perspextives (laser cut shapes). You can choose from many lovely colours and designs. Stop by their shop to find out more (click). I would like to share another layout inspiration with you today. You might want to check out an earlier post, where I shared the first layout as guest designer for Bramble Fox (click).

Scrapbook Page Happy Days

For today's page I used the happy days perspextive and some die-cut clouds. I wanted the photo to be the star of the layout. I decided to go for a minimalistic design, because I think that sometimes less is more. I only added some journaling, a doily and two sequins in addition to the perspextives from Bramble Fox. I took the photo of the boats at Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg. According to their website, it's the 'largest model railway in the world, and one of the most successful permanent exhibitions in Northern Germany'. If you ever happen to be in Hamburg, this would be an attraction I'd recommend for you to visit. It's fun!!!

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day, yours Sandra.

Crate Paper Good Vibes | More Fun Cards

Crate Paper Good Vibes

Earlier this month I shared three cards with Crate Paper's Good Vibes Collection (click). Because I like this collection so much, I created some more fun cards, featuring the lovely pom pom frames and a tag with stitched details. Thanks for looking :). Have a good day, yours Sandra.

Altenew | Hidden Journaling with Journal Card Builder Stamp

Hidden Journaling

Hi! And welcome to my blog today. You want to add journaling to your scrapbook page. But you don't know where to place it or you just want to keep the information confidential?! Then a good way to add handwritten notes is to just put them on the reverse side of your scrapbook page. The Journal Card Builder Stamp Set from Altenew has a nice journal card stamp (there is also a coordinating die), which is perfect for adding journaling to your scrapbook and project life projects. Hop on over to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog to find out more. I'm sharing a layout with lots of white space and hidden journaling. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day, yours Sandra.

Versteckte Notizen

Schaut gern vorbei. Ich würde mich freuen. Liebe Grüße von eurer Sandra.
